tranny problem

i'd been havin soem problems with my tranny goin from 2-3 and 3-4, and last night, i think it finally gave out on me..... i've only got 3rd gear and neutral..... once i go in neutral, i cant go back into 4, or to either side to get 1,2,5, R...... i'm thinkin my synchronizer s are bda and finally somethin inside broke.. any ideas? best way to fix? price?

if this is in your jeep you just got, you were afraid that the tranny was going out. i know what i would do and thats because i dont open trannys up to work on them. i take them to the shop where i know that they know how to fix them. sorry that its happened.

well now you have a good excuse for an upgrade. at least the manual tranny is cheaper to fix.

yea, it's on the jeep..... the guy told em the tranny was on it's way out. he said it could die tomorrow, or it could be another yr. i had put soem money aside to fix it when it goes bad. so thats good
