| personally i now a heck of alot of people running 6 inch lifts, its pretty much standard cause if you go any higher your day to day drivability is really poor, although 8 inches looks pretty dam sweet, if your gonna lift it for play or actuall usage out in the mud, go a big as you can afford, but if you just wanna look good and pickup the ladies, they can still manage to hop in at 6 inches!!! |

| This is kin da trucky. It really depends on why you want the lift, and what it is going in, and what you will use it for. For the mid size trucks, 6 is comfortable. For the full sizers 8 is comfortable. If you want extreme use, 10+ is prefered with lots of flex and probably an SAS. if you just want a mean look and some light off road capablitlities, then the 2-4 roange for either the mids or the fulls is fine. Personally, since I prefer the mid sizers like the S10 pickups and the blazers, and I USE them off road, I have chosen a 5inch sus lift for my chevys from BDS and more then likely a 2inch BL as well to fit the tires. So I will be at 7 inches alltogether. Just keep in mind why you want it, and what you will use it for. The higher the lift, the better its capapblitlitie OFF Road, but the worse it will be over the road. So for a daily driver, the big ones are not always recomended. Just some food for thought here though.
