My mom actually drives a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500, original 5.9 360ci motor, she just rolled over 328,000 miles. ANd she put every mile on it! She is the original owner, besides the usual preventative maintenance, and a few brake calipers, we just put the 3rd transmission in it, the first at 210,000 miles, and the most recent at 300,000. And it still runs like a champ...

204,000 on my 97' gmc with a rebuilt radiator, new water pump, rebuilt tranny, new U-joints, rebuilt rear end because of bad U-joints, fuel pump and a hand full of steering wheel speed sensors.

the original motor is still running strong, but the truck did stall on my twice today. first at the bank, then in the driveway. i think the fuel pump relay is working lose again(stupid shop teacher).

I've got 216000 on the clock but the previous and original owner was an excavating company and they dropped and gm performance 350 tbi in it so the motor have about 140k on the current motor. And I've put a k&n open element air charger and a custom built exhaust and a lift and 33s and here in the next 2-3 months I'll be rebuilding the motor and then within the next 6 months hopefully there'll be and STS turbo on it but gotta see how the finaces look!!
