| what is the point to this thread. ok, ill bite. redneck, its a way of life. i classify myself as a redneck becuz thats the way i have always been. i was born north, rasied north and moved down here when i was 14, so... rednecks, they arent just southern us states.

| florida is not a "yankee" state, there is no state as such, but yes, alot of nonrednecks live here, and the only reason they do (and the majority of them are elder) is becuz theyre snow birds, aka, people who move down here in the winter and never go home for the summer. this state is and was a state of the confederacy, but it has changed, there are a few rednecks left, actually quite a few, but there are alot more hispanics now and elderly people here.

| It is a way of like, but also a sterotype.. I'm not complaining but most people assume redneck as "white trash" or people raised on a farm. I don't necessarily consider my self redneck but just a good ol' country boy... That's my take anyways.

| there is no way to "be a redneck". if you are, you are, if ur not, well, ur not. there is no way that there is a generalization for redneck-ness. lol, my christmas lights are still up and i have like 6 vehicles on my lot, the city complains we let our grass grow to high, but we dont care. redneck.
