I grew up in Florida... wouldn't really call it "South" but I would totally call it North Cuba.

yes, not to be racist but the majority of this state is cuban and puerto-rican, but inner city, dud, i live in a city, and i hate it. up northin ohio, most of my family is redneck, but that doesnt mean they are not redneck if they live in a northern state. the confederacy is over, long gone, so rednecks can live wherever they want to, and nobody will give a rats behind about it. i call my self a redneck, not becuz i live in a southern state, becuz of how i live, how i talk, dress and do things, like a "i dont care about nothing" attitude or something, and yes, most rednecks live in geogia but that dont mean thats one of the only states where we live; florida, geoagia, tennessee, south carolina, louisiana, alabama, mississippi, and all them other states were only the confederacy, but now we can live wherever we want to. i think i made my point.

i think that i might be a redneck. went to a pasture party a few weekends ago, (in my front yard), and there was a kid in one of those kiddie walkers tied to a tree so she could not wonder off. the dogs wondered around free. is that backwards?? i come home and sit in my rocking chair with a whiskey and shoot dogs with my little boy and pellet guns. when i get greasy, i dont use gojo. i use gas. after the gas is so far used it wont clean, i use it on weeds and fence rows. sometimes i leave it in a jug out in the yard for some of the neighborhood kids to come and steal. i always know who it is on how well their atvs run.

you say you have a "i dont care about nothing attitude " but started that very post with "not to be racist but " if you didnt care, that first statement would not of been necessary.

to be perfectly honest i dont think you're a redneck, i think you'd be scared if you actually knew any real rednecks. i think you're more trying to find yourself and are trying to be a redneck to see if thats what you want. i dont know many rednecks obsessed with 18 wheeleres and remote control cars. and definately dont know any who would argue agaisnt florida being a yankee state

1) not to be racist but

i used to clean my hands with gas, until my mom started locking me out of the house because i stunk.

hahaha, she wasn't very happy when she found out that i was cleaning the dirt bike carb in my bedroom a couple weeks ago.(it was cold outside)

I assembled a 1967 Ford Cortina in my basement.... I had to tear out a wall to get it out... Cinder block is easy to replace, part of the kitchen has a permanent sag. The Wife said that was the final straw, and filed for a divorce..

if you go tward the bronson/ocala area you will find pletty of white folk. its mostly my family. there all redneck. my uncles sit on there tailgates drinkin beer and shootin the **** that walks by every day of the week. the one has 2 prop boats. 3 quads and a 65 vette. i have lived up[ here in pa since i was 10 but every time i go there i feel more at home then here. thats where my roots are. city living sucks yes but there is always something more appealing. you just have to live with what you got. i will be moving back down there before my kids start school for sure. i got 2 years left here and i am gone. peace

all rednecks arent racist. the conferacy was over along time ago, and i do call myself a redneck, not white trash. i disagree with most of you, i am not racist and like i said, not all rednecks are. yeah, im from the north, but i live in the south. no, just becuz living in the south doesnt make me a redneck. most of my family moved up north from virgina, they said something about russians. i do not like being racist, but most of my family is. i am not. many of my freinds are of different race, but most of them are country boys like myself. we like hunting, fishing, muddin, boatin, going to the mall and slapping girls behinds, its all fun. i wear blue jeans to school everyday, and when i get home, i leave um on, i wear my camo baseball cap in public, you wont see me without it. my girlfriend is a prep, but i am the exact opposite. and who has something againts gojo? gas isnt cheap, not at all, and who wants to pay 3.79 a gallon just to was their hands? i enjoy working on my beater *** box truck, and i enjoy making fun of loud musci people play, like rap, i totally despise it. people play rap music across the street from me, and when they do, i take out my old stereo, it has a record player, i blare hank williams jr! i say **** yeah to country music! i love all the classics, hank jr, johnny paycheck, david allen coe, willie nelson, johnny cash, etc. so, yeah, i think i classify, no matter wat any one says, not all rednecks are racist. you dont have to be racist to be a redneck, i think thats a false accusation, becuz its rong to discriminate people becuz they are black. they didnt choose that color, if you could choose the color of ur skin, i would choose purple! lmao, i think i have made my point.
