i call myself either redneck or hillbilly..doesnt bother me caues i also tell ppl i am the queen (**&^ and that makes their jaw drop

I have not and will not read the rest of this post as I find the term Redneck gets a bad rap. What most of you consider Redneck, are ignorant, uneducated (high school- not talking college) drop out or flunkies. People that have relations with family and that sort of thing with no teeth.

I am here to tell you that REDNECK is simply the lack of being caught up in all of todays commercial bull and still wanting to live off the land. Most of you would not know a REDNECK from white trash if they both smacked you.

Redneck is just being gloriously simple and living from nature. Any thing else is just trash.

Oh, and rednecks come from all over this great nation and Canada. I can not speak for other contries as I have never been there.

since you refuse to read the thread, i think it is awefully judgemental and unfair of you to say most of you do not know. i cant speak for everyone here but you might find that people might be more wise about this topic than the credit that you give them.

I only did not read it because I did not want to point direct fingers at people. It is a subject I feel strongly about and deal with daily living here. I do not mean to offend. Just stating my point. And when I say you, I mean people I talk to or interact with. I get tired of singling out when this same **** has been debated my entire life.
