Rednecks?

Are Rednecks just limited to the Southern US?

or

IS it a style and a way of life?

i grew up is southern us(florida) but now i live in pa so i guess im a redneck on the move lol. i still go there to visit family and when i come back i have my accent back again. but really its a way of life. just a chilled not in a rush like everyone else type of lifestyle. i think up here in the city is to complexe for me but thats just the way i was raised. i love it here at the same time. but i still live my life the way i was raised

Scottie, you polled it is a away of life, but saying New Hampshire is a Redneck state.

I'm Canadian (much farther north than New Hampshire). Most of the flat provinces are inhabited by Rednecks & Mennonites. Parts of my Province British Columbia are inhabited by Rednecks. There are also the "wanna be's"

So do you have to be American to be a Redneck?

lol. yall trpi me out. the guy on the CD is jeff foxworthy, he grew up about 30 minutes NORTH of me..... and not to be busrt your bubble 87, but florida is definately a YANKEE state stuck in the south. i reckon everyone has there different opinion of what a redneck is, and what some of yall consider rednecks where your from up north, would probably be considered normal around here. but to each his own

i'd fit right in if i moved to the south. last time i went to arkanslaw, i didn't want to come back. it was cool going down the back roads and seeing all the cat fish farms. everybody is so layed back compared to the city people up here.

and camino is right, florida is not a southern state. you could cut it off and join it to california and no one would know the difference.
