| I can't have one of each?

| I am thinking I need to go on a diet. Other day, I scraped some engine blocks, and other stuff that I did not want to pay to dump, so why not get a few buck instead of paying out to dump. So I go to the scrap yard. My 84 C20 with me, the spare tire, one tank full and one tank half full weighed 5520 lbs. I figured the truck weighed about 4000lbs since that is what my 64 GMC 3/4 ton weighed without a spare tire, or me in it. I know I did not have 1520 lbs of me, gas and spare tire, so that truck is obviously fairly heavy. Probably close to 5000 lbs. Does this even seem right?

| Really, I'd prefer one of each, since each has its good points and bad points.

| I think you misunderstood, that was the truck I drove the stuff there in. As weighing OUT that is what the truck weighed. I did not scrap the truck. However I just remember something, my 64 GMC had a small block and Turbo 350, this truck has a 454 and a Turbo 400, so there is a bit of the weight differance right there, along with the 64 only has like a 16 gallon tank behind the seat, this truck has like 2 18-20 gallon tanks. The small things will add up. Like AC compressor, power window and lock motors etc that the 64 did not have. The 64 had a Dana 60 full Float rear and this truck has a Corporate 10.25 Full Float. I think the Corporate outweighs the Dana 60 too. Its my understanding the Corporate 10.25 rear has the carrier strength and size of Dana 70 and Alxe strength and size of Dana 60. So that weight with all the differances is probaby accurate.

| Oh NO, here we go with the trash talking again. I am not gonna talk about it. Just let me know when you get your $5000 in your truck and its fast, then I can get my $800 into mine, and I'll let you have the move and spank your 460 with those $400 flat top pistons.
