all i kno is, the day after katrina, our gas jumped up to $5 at one point, and my little town made the headlines, ppl in lousina knew about it, bc my mom was on the phone with a lawyer 2 days from down there and he was askin about it

columbus GA.... 90 mi. SW of ATL. columbus is more of a suburb of Ft. benning GA, home of the infantry and the Rangers..... it's like the largest millitary base in the world i think, or close 2 it.columbus is right on the GA - AL border

Thats where my brother is shipping out to Jan. 5th, he's doing the whole ranger thing. Gunna miss that kid and worry about him like crazy, but its what he wants to do so i'm gunna support him.

You know they said the oil companys had a record gain of 75% just in the last quarter. Greedy guys >

There is no reason fuel should still be as high as it is. And Diesel. There is no way on earth diesel should ever be higher than gasoline. Around here it is staying .80 -.90 cents higher than regular.
