Chevy is coming out with a 6.0 soon, probally in the spring! And next year perhaps sooner they will have the diesel in their new Silverado LTZ an LT's! I just bought a LTZ Z71 4x4 and it has a vortec 5.4 and it has a lot of power! And its a great ride! I think Chevy might have out done them selfs on this truck!

PEACE OUT, ACE!

My last Ford is my last Ford. I bought a new 1999 F150 Lariet 4x4 and by the time I hit 50K I was going on transmission number 6.

Im done with Ford. Im a Chevy man now! 65K on my 2003 Silverado! No problems to speak of....

I have owned more than 20 new trucks and have the best luck with GM both Chevy and GMC. I have owned 01 new Dodge (2001) 1/2 ton 4x4 loaded slt and it went through 3 trans in only 50K. sold it went back to a 96 chevy and took 2 years to recover financially. i then bought an 04 chevy and i'll never own anything but chevys again. this is the best truck ever owned. great ride, good power, and livable mileage for what it is.
