but which company had the first pick up truck? ford. the model t pick up was the very first truck. other companies copied the idea.

wrong. henry ford came up with the idea of the assembly line/ mass production. he did not invent the car/truck, it was already around. he jsut massed produced them

actually other companies made the idea better. and there were steam and electric vehicles around before ford came in the picture. i'm just glad we're still not cranking our engines by hand.

yes the model t did have a pickup model, and my dads dad had a hardtop sedan he bout for 30 bucks in the 50's and sold it for 10,000 in the 70's.

My great-grandad had a Ford model AA dump truck back during the 30's. He hauled coal with it and used it around the farm, until he bought a 1952 Ford F-6 (which my dad now owns). The old AA still sits in the barn at the old homestead. My great-grandad died about 30 years ago.
