Yeah, its not mine, for some reason its still in my greatgrandads name. Its about 80 miles away from where I live, way back in the boondocks. The pic I posted is the only known photo of that truck. I havent been there in years, so I dont know how well the truck survived.

Yeah, in trucks ANd suvs. Ford still won in the only trucks category. Gm sold a **** load of tahoes, subs, yukons, xls, denalis, escalades, exts, ests. yeah. they sold less trucks though. less than they projected i believe. of the early 07's i mean.

but even though chevy and gmc sold so many yukons, tahoes, etc, look how many were traded in, and how many are for sale. they suck! they are poorly made and basically all the same body style, same chassis, motors, and all that. ford has less models to choose from, but the ones they have are safe, fuel efficent and they even look better. so there, fords rule!

I wish Dodge would recontinue the Ramcharger. They could base it off the 1500 swb trucks and have a sweet looking two door suv. A lot of people dont really want the extra two doors, but do want a fullsize enclosed vehicle. They could even have a HD version, kinda like the Sno-Commander and Power Ram packages they had during the 70's and 80's. The Raider was a joke, way under powered and too top heavy to do anything with. A better soulution would have been to base it off the Dakotas of the era. It would be nice if Dodge would look at making a two door Durango. I dont like the new sheetmetal, but it would look pretty decent as a two door Sport model.

i totally agree! but i think ford should bring back the bronco instead of dodge bringing back the ramcharger. broncos rocked when they were on the market, especailly in the late 70's. and i dont like the bronco 2, but the full size ones were really nice and dependable.

78-79 were the first of the "Full" size Broncos. I have seen guys that take the body and put on 73-77 pickup front clips on them. That front end was classic. I had a 86 Bronco II, it was great in the snow, had plenty of power with the 2.9 V-6 and 4 speed tranny with overdrive. I called mine a Ranger with a cap. I liked it, but it was no true Bronco.

The Bronco line goes as such: (I didnt include the Gen 1 Bronco)
1978-1979-First of the fullsize
1980-1986-Bodystyle changes
1987-1996-Body changes-1996 Bronco is discontinued.

My old mechanical drawing teacher has a 72' Bronco he did a frame off resto on. He put everything the way it would have been when it came off the assembly line. He has the hard and soft tops, and a rare original half cab. The rear wheelwells are uncut. Its a sweet looking truck. Those old scouts were cool, but I like the Scout II. Have you ever seen one of the old IH Travelalls? They were a serious competitor for the Suburban. The air force used tons of them and they can still can be found for cheap if you know where to look. The later models look like a 4 door Scout.

yeah, i like the scout II's also. those are really nice. theres a guy around here and he has a 66 bronco, but its in the process of restoration, so he wont sell it. it sucks, im kinda looking for a late 70's bronco 1 ton or 1 ton pickup.
