A Dodge wouldnt be caught dead pretending to be a Ford. It has too much pride for that.

| good to be in the company of you two. havent owned a dodge, wouldnt know about the PRIDE that they have... except those with a cummins...sorry, diesel nut. any way i change oil in dodge trucks and cars everyday for a living. its nice to drive them, some are really nice. would rather change some rich dudes oil than someone who dont take care of their car, stinky, leaks all over, looks like **** and only has 45k on it... you know. |

| right here, a ford centurion, these things are awesome, one of the reasons why i love fords. not only that, i do think they are the sharpest looking truck that is made. chevy/gmc is too much into electronics, and they dont look at the big picture. ford, hauls up to 15k on a fifth wheel, and up to 12k on a bumper pull, i mean, you cant beat that. yes, cummins diesels are really great, but i think the powerstroke is way better. it even sounds better. im not talking about the 6.4, im talking about the 6.0, the 6.4 has had so many problems with it since it came out. im tellin you, you cant beat the power of a nice old ford.

| Nice, when did ford make that? I have seen the four door trucks with that body, but that looks more like an SUV? am I right?

| Yeah, its a ripoff of the Suburban. Ford didnt make em', they were a custom dealership deal you could get. They are junk, just another lame attempt at making a Ford look more like a Chevy.

WOW, like your point of view. I have never seen one in person, and if I have, I gues I chicked it up to being a 4-door with a cap on the bed. Either way, it IS still a ford. Oh, and Pete, I actually think it looked better covered in mud. Kinda hid its true look, made it more mysterious....LOL. Plus, I prefer the look of a ford right after a chevy pulls it out of the mud anyways.... LOL. Just kidding bud. It is a nice truck, but stopped it in '96? r u sure? I mean, it would seem the just changed the name to excursion, then discontinued it when the Suburban beat it in sales three years in a row. Just some food for thought though.

| "actually, it was a special ford factory body, also known as the centurion, or magnum conversion 4 door bronco, so ford did make them. its like an awesome ford that they started making in like 79, and they stopped in 96." No, they werent. They were available from 1987 until 1996, through Ford dealerships as a special order. They werent a special Ford body, but actually a conversion combining a new club cab short bed F-Series truck with a Bronco rear section and fiberglass top. In addition to adding a third row of seats, a Bronco Centurion could be ordered using an F-350 as the donor pickup, allowing the Centurion to have such engines as the 7.3L PowerStroke turbodiesel and the 7.5L 460ci gasoline V8. The Centurion name comes from the company that converted them, Centurion Vehicles of White Pigeon, Michigan. Bronco Centurions are considered after market conversions. Ford introduced the Excursion as an official production model in 2000.
