yes, it does very much, what also hurts is that toyota is more american made that any domestic truck here. ford parts are made in mexico and canda. the only thing that is american about a ford anymore is the guy who created it, and the fact that its happens to be assembled at the kentucky truck plant.

its taurus and this is a truck forum... anyway, my dads truck is an oil burner, made in kentucky, at least assembled there, and its pretty kool. its just a shame that toyotas have to come out with trucks that are big, they have always been small.

NOW!!!

and the concept?!?!?

this is not right. ford have always been bigger, it seems like fords have downsized, you know? they are less beefy than like the 80's, even the earlier 90's and the 2007 models, they all look bigger than the new 2008. my dad looked at a 450 king ranch, 67k, fo what? it was the size of a 250, the only difference was the dual rear wheels. (and the interior was beautiful)

GAS....... it has become a concern, therefore size is beggining to slip. Remember what happened in the 80's with the mustang, charger and such. Gas prices spiked, cars shrank. Give it time, they will grow again.
