I voted for F.I. for ease of use, but its hard to beat a well tuned carb.

Carb motors are better in my view. not as many electronics so it aint as hard to fix a carb motor

carbs are nice because they use manifold vacuum to meter fuel flow, but personally i thrive off port injection... thats what im good at, comp tuning, electrical work, PCMs, ECUs, etc. not a huge fan of TBI, although i got that on my truck

that "electronic dash-dash-dash-dash" can have so much more potential if you know what your doing when you enter those "lamda and bar" numbers in those millions of little boxes

FI is easier in areas where it gets COLD. Its nice to be able to go out and have your truck start up right away. None of that starting fluid business.

carbs are a thing of the past... Anyone can work on them because they have been around forever... FI is the future.. better educate yourself because we ain`t going back... my 2 cents...

"Anyone can work on them " is not true - I've left a litter of bad carbs behind me, even on lawnmowers.
Just never could get them "right" and my dad was a certified old school mech with a gift for them.
Clearly some things are not genetic LOL

Bring on the computers, you can tune them while driving. Try that with a carb (without falling in).
And you can change them on the fly too.
Maybe it's just me, I love anything electrical from 480v 3phase to discrete components. Toys!

Anybody else have parking lights that blink in sequence around the truck like a space ship ?
Adjustable sequence, rate of flash, and patterns ? Probably a little out there haha
Saw the guys with low body strip lights and thought they were boring.
Fun when coming up on folks out of the fog at night on the beach, some run away.
Don't know if any call radio talk shows.
