| My 1992 Z71 350 TBI gets about 10-12 and it's premium only! But I have 3" straight exhaust with a glasspack so I have like no back pressure!! and I have a heavy foot! |

| I have no idea...it just has absolutely no pep.....you put it to the floor, and it stumbles for like 5 seconds before it does anything, and it accelerates very slowly. Low and 1st gear are fast...2nd is ok...3rd and OD are pathetic....

| Well with a 2500 you have a really heavy frame and low axle ratio and v6 has low torque so that would probably be the problem there! |

| i am still trying to figure it out...since i am still getting used to my 94 gmc sierra i can barely let off the gas or barely touch it and not notice that i have done that...i wouldn't know i was doing it if it wasn't for the tach needle jumping around..lol..when i first got that truck i thought maybe the gauges were bad but started to pay attention to my driving and found it was me and not the truck...go figure...hopefully in another month or 2 i can better estimate my gas mileage as i get to drive it on a regular basis now.....but it is so quiet that i have to watch my gauges closely to know how fast i am going..might have to remedy that someday because the black truck is loud and i could tell by the sound of it how fast i was going besides, it has a 350 in it and if i was worried about gas mileage i wouldnt have bought it...however i did look at one that had a 454 in it i think and decided that was a bit much but i can deal with the 350...i like power in my vehicles and refused to go any smaller on the engine size..since i dont drive all over on a constant basis my truck doesnt do bad..mainly to town or work is about it for me, occasionally out of the county but the gas mileage isnt all that bad i dont think
