If it is all city and cold it still gets about 15 so i can't complain. i also have a 93 2wd reg cab cummins w/ about 25000 original miles and i have got 25.2 mpg highway once. Of cours i used to have a 82 6.2 that got 22 mpg all the time. |

| well depends how i drive, 11mpg city-15.5hwy w/ externally modified 454 in a 98 gmc 3/4 ton 4x4, unless i`m actually "driving" it light to light kinda thing,or towing. actually managed 18 once, and only once, drove mostly 80kms/hr, never ever got that good again, but it was amazing!! |

| Rambler Here in the Central Valley of CA, I'll get up to 24 mpg (diesel) using cruise on the fwy. Pulling the 35' trailer, figure 14 mpg. Take the rig into town, and kiss it off! It HATES city streets stop and go. Hardly gets out of second... Figure 8, or 9 mpg, then. Costs a solid $100 to fill the beast when way empty. |

| Depends on the truck or the driving conditions. My Mazda runs anywhere from 12-15 MPG all the time, but my Blazer, even with a much bigger motort... the 4.3 vs a 3.0.... I get avg about 17 in the city, and I avg 24-25 on the freeway. Still nothing compared to my old Dodge though... geeezzzz, on a GREAT day down hill for ten miles it still only averaged 6 or 7 MPG! and with a 40 gal tank @ 3.15 a gallon.... yeah I totally understand where you are comming from kkirschman. Hence why my primary vehicle is a chevy....LOL.
