goldfever is on a distinguished road
shortbed is great and still fesable for hauling etc. i put mine on the scale with over the amount the truck weighs and that was 6000 pound "forklift" i haul metal for cement factory and other places on the side and havent any complaints about not having enough room. when a chevy is under load its like driving a caddy. i can feel the difference. anyways just figure out what you think would suit your needs in the long run. hope this helps. if you are going to get a fifth wheel or gooseneck id go for a longbed and a tough tranny.

Long bed is the way to go. You cant load a short bed up with a bunch of cute girls a show or something. Well in my case, it would be one girl, I dont want to be sleeping in the doghouse or in the truck for the next year.

i got a short bed but id rather have a long bed. there bigger and they look cooler except on some standard cab trucks. i want a dodge ram 3500 mega cab long bed id have to extend the frame though. that sucks

Short bed stepside just for the looks I remember way back farmers would buy short bed trucks because the beds were made of wood and square and they could put cattle in the bed with side boards and the cows wouldn't slip. Im wondering does anyone remember this?
