What would ya'll prefer...a short bed or a long bed? there is no reason, I was just curious.

I vote both depending on the use. Short beds look better on single wheel vehicles. Long bed look better on Duallys

I agree, short does look better. Long beds are good if you use your truck a lot for work or construction, but it looks really strange on a standard cab truck. Just my opinion.

I think if you are going to bother to get a truck, it has to be a long box. If you want to add a camper, or even help a friend move a short box doesn't cut. it.

Long beds are more useful, Short bed only if yoiu are buying used and cant find a good long bed truck. Man needs a place to haul stuff.

Short beds, I think they look nicer... plus you don't want to see me parking a long bed let alone a long bed extended cab!

Short beds look better, but if I were to get a new truck, I'd get a long bed, just cuz it's so much more practical as far as hauling and towing
