O geeze.... You need to get some experience under your belt, then come back with trying to reason.

What makes you think that? Diesels have glow plugs, but if you lose your glow plug in the cold then you're SOL... So in a way they're better, but wayy more risky than gasoline. But that's not what this thread is about.

I was thinking of the same thing cause the guy that works next to our building has one and it looks nice. The engine really doesn't matter to me since an SUV wouldn't have any value for me. I don't have kids to tote around, you can't haul hay without making a mess, I can't haul our gooseneck trailer. I guess I could haul our car trailer, but I think an SUV would be a pure luxury vehicle for me.

my aunt did the same thing, except she's sorta loaded and has no respect for that thing. i went down to visit them and since they were payin for my food i figured i'd help pay some back so i detiled their car and cleaned the inside and everything, and when i was doin the avanlanche i notices basketball sized dents in the 4 bumper corners! some deep scratches that ran the length of the vehicle (its its all black so they really stick out) i mean my god, i would be so proud to have that thing that i'd almost be scared to drive it in case i f'd somethin up!
