| 90 Toyota Clutch/Flywheel replacement 90 Toyota truck specs given in my prev post. Is it Difficult to change fly wheel? Clutch? Any tips/ suggestions would be helpful, starting project on saturday. Parts bought: Clutch set(Clutch Disc, Cover Assembly, Release Bearing, Pilot Bearing/Bushing & Alignment Tool; flywheel) Anything else i would need, or would be helpful? Thanks. J |

| Yes, there is something else you will need, ELBOW GREASE...lol. I helped my buddy change the clutch in his 1992 Toyota, granted his was lifted and a 4x4 so the TC got in the way,..... it is not "hard" just time consuming, and the four bolts on the upper side of the bell housing were a pain to get to! Lots of bloody knuckles....LOL. But you should have everything you need. Make sure you have a jack to hold the tranny up, do not try to hold it yourself, unless, of course, you are the Hulk! LOL. keep it supported, and take your time. Do you have a tourque wrench? Might be a good idea when putting everything back together, especially for the flywheel, to get the proper tourque specs and tighten appropriately. Sounds like fun though, been a while since I have done a clutch replacement. Good luck.
