im so mad!!!!

so in early january my 1993 toyota pick-up was acting up big time. did some tests on it turned my engine was in bad shape so i replaced the engine with a rebuilt one and replaced the clutch cause it was getting worn out. i start driving the truck again last saturday. i put 140 miles on it and as i aproach a stop light i push down the clutch and the break to stop. the truck starts to rev by itself from where the truck idles (about 1000 rpms) to 1500 rpms and then goes back down to idling rpms and back up 1500. it bounces up and down for the time im at the stop light. i was at the stoplight before a left turn on to the highway and couldnt get out of the turn lane. so i get on the highway and drive the truck easy and get off at the next exit and pull over. the truck was no longer revving. has this happened to anyone? is this anything to worry about? should i get it checked out? it was an expensive repair i made and im still breaking the engine in so i want to keep it from happening again. anything would help thanks!!!!
