any reason why you want to go to a non EFI controlled engine?? you cannot expect this block to bolt right up and everything work just like the old one if that is what you are thinking.

i would like to retract my previous statement. finally got some lunch in me and started thinking clearly. it should work. the only problem i foresee is that you will no longer have somewhere to install the knock sensor. really cannot tell you what to do to solve this problem though.

it should run but your timing will not advance any to gain mileage needed on lower octane gas such as 89. there should be a way but i really dont know how.
