22re. do you have a hot at the coil?? not the coil wire but the + side of the coil?? if yes but nothing coming out of the coil, than you could have a pickup coil problem. what all have you tested so far??

Pickup coil is tested good. Replaced the coil and the igniter. Tested it all timing belt on and intact. What do you suggest?

see if you can follow me on something. check in this order.

check resistance of the plug wires. max is 25 Kohms per cord.
check power supply to ignition coil. resistance cold should be .5 to .7 ohms on the primary. measure this between the + and - terminals. resistance on the secondary should be 11.4 to 15.6 Kohms. this is between the + terminal and the coil wire terminal.
check resistance of the pickup coil. 140-180 ohms.
check air gap of dizzy. should be .2 to .4 mm. this will be the gap between the signal rotor and pickup coil projection.

if any of this checks bad, replace it. if all that checks out, get back with me and i will refer back to my service manual.

reason i listed all that is so you wont have to spend on the extra money replacing parts tht need not replacing. i know its alot but really the only thing you need is the multimeter. should not take you that long to figure out. walmart sells a knock around multimeter for 20 bucks i think, if you dont own one.
