03 tacoma chevy 350 swap

has any one ever done a 350 swap into an 03 tacoma? I am thinking about, but i just want to know if any one has any ideas on that.

No idea, but I'd sure love to see it. I think it would be kinda like a spit in the ricers face. I'd love to see it. I have an engine hoist. Need some help???

Welcome to the show. I have heard of it being done. Don't know the details. I know where I am from there are two Honda civics with Chevy small blocks running around. Mean, mean machines. If your ever here pull up next to a civic that start torque twisting, do not make eye contact.

PC has the hoist I have the beverages lets do it.

I toyed with the idea of dropping a 3.8 buick into a 72 datsun pickup a fwe years back. I thought that would have been a quick combo. Everthing I had was pre comp also so it would have been basicly motor mounts and exhaust that had to be fabbed

Do it !!! It would be awesome to see some USA muscle in a rice burner. Would this mean you have to change the gas tank and fuel intake system to run on meat and potatoes instead of rice? I can see the label over the gas fill pipe now. "Meat and Potatoes Only"

my project was going to happen in the late 80's. I dont have any f the stuff or the truck anymore. The 3.8 was a temp engine I hab in my 79 formula firebird and it would still smoke the tires even with the posi trac. I thought if I put a quite exhaust on it would make a great sleeper. Even had a good T350 to go behind it.

Yep, quiet exhaust and a turbo, major sleeper. Be like the buick grand nationals.

Yep, then you get older and have aliments that keep you from some stuff, and funds get tighter too. I just hope some of these other younger guys read these things like this, and get the "DO IT NOW" attitude.
