Question vibration on 86 extra cab long bed

My truck has over 300,000 mi on it and it has had a steadily increasing vibration problem. Its not the tires and the universal joints look good and are not binding ( they have been replaced not too long ago. I have been getting a whining noise for some time now that sounds like the hanger bearing is rubbing on the rubber casing. However, it does not feel loose.

Could it be the hanger bearing causing the vibration?

Anybody have any other ideas?

Had a 87 ext.cab that was great till i had to buy new tires for it and after that i always had a vibration in it . could never find what it was they put like 3 new sets of tires on it and that didn't help they even went through the rearend,driveshaft,u-joints ,frame you name it could find anything wrong but going down the road it would vibrate from the rear and 99% of the time you could see the left rear of the bed bouncing up and down ! just a strange thing that happend (**** new tires !) hope you find out what it is.good luck
