Lifting 2wd xtra cab

What's the least expensive way for a 3" lift for a 1992 Toyota Xtra cab 2wd, 4cyl, auto? I'm tight on budget. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't understand why people lift 2wd's...My mom's doin that to her f-350 crew cab I'd say just go with an AAL kit...they're cheap on Ebay. My boyfriend runs one on his Heep. They're not great for hard core wheelin, but you ain't doin none of that in ur 2wd, so it should do the job...

Good luck!

To achieve 3" of suspension lift is fairly easy. The rear can be done with add-a-leafs or blocks, and these are pretty cheap and easy to find. The front IFS is a little more difficult, but 3" kits should be easy to find. And you shouldn't need to go with a drop steering arm.

Also, 2wd trucks can be quite capable. I say build her up, and add a rear locker when you can afford it. I've seen locked 2wds out on the trail doing just as good as 4x4s running open axles, because essentially they have the same number of wheels grabbing. I'd run the widest rear tires you can fit to help with traction.

You might as well slap a solid axle under her and a t-case!

there is no point in lifting 2wd besides enduro racing but daystar has good cheap 2 1/4" lift.
