It's not too bad, as far as I can remember, rememeber what linkages go where and don' let nothin get inside The tuff part is adjusting it once you get it rebuilt

Good luck!!

Well, it went well. It was not hard at all just took a lot of time. The two are different very different. after bolting it back on and starting it up ran fine for over 20 min. took it up the street and ran fine tell I had to turn it around and lost all power and died would start. it a manual so I tried pop starting it still nothing walked home and called mom to pull me home(the only one who will help me if I need it) got my jeep then picked up mom and went to my truck. Tried to start it again, still nothing check to feel any leaks and its wet. Then smelled it and it was gas. In the morning, I either fix it or burn it.

Well I pulled it off and CHECKED EVERY thing. It all was good. The float is set correctly and the needle is fine and was not jammed. Put the carb back on and tried starting it when it started it ran as if it was being flooded. The little glass piece is FULL of gas. I know its supposed to be half gas and half air but its not. and the adjustment screws seem not to help. is it still the float? or some thing else that my control the amount of gas it gets?

It could be your float, or your idle is too high

Maybe it's not your carb...maybe it's something else I.E. clogged fuel lines/filter, messed up sensor, something like that.... I dunno just an idea
