| lifting my toyota pick up, big problem wrong info published. Hello everyone im new to this website. I have a little problem and i want to see if anyone has ran into this. I have a 1992 toyota pick up 2wd 4cly. I bought a 4" fabtech spindle lift kit with shocks and 4" shackels. It says to use 31" tires with minor triming. I installed the kit , but there no way those tires are going to fit. They acually fit, but the tires hit the body bad not minor triming. So i turned up the tosion bar all the way, but on difference. So i dont know why fabtech would publish that 31 fit. So now i have a problem i can't even drive the truck it rubs so bad. The back of the truck is about 2" off the tire and the front is about 4'-5" off the tire. I also notice that the rear leaf spring are under the axle. So i can get 3'-4' from from fliping the axles and mabe put the 3.5 control arm kit. I was also thing mabe i can do a 3" body lift and lower the torrsion bars a little bit in the front to evan it out a little bit. Has anyone run into this. I see eveyone with 32'-35" tires with 3-4" kits. |

| Maybe try a 9.5 wide tire.. and trim yer fenders some more. Shoot, slap on some 4wd fenders! I would think with a 4" lift you can fit 33's easily, I see it all the time... wierd!

| How wide are your rims. What offset do you have ? Both could contribute to rubbing if they are not the ones recommended

| i'd be goin legal with them, or at least make em think you are.... thats false advertising, at least try and get them to re-fund you for the lift or somethin, or pay for the 2"you had to add

| Weel I think you would loose, I am sure it could be explained by wheel width, or offset and get it done minimally.
