 | Howdy :) Got Toyota 4X4 PK UP Problem We have been having an ongoing problem with our 4x4 toyota pick up truck. The truck shakes and runs bad. We were told to replace the ignition module or the coil. We did both. The problem went away for 8 months but came back. The guy from the shop advised us to replace the throttle body which we did and it still runs awful. Any suggestions from anyone would be great. I want to see that smile on my hubby's face again. | I am not by any means qualified to answer your question, but it sounds to me, like, by some sort of occurence, whatever it was that broke and you replaced, broke again. If it went away for 8 months, thats a while, i think it's reasonable to assume that the same thing may have broken again. So i mean, untill you get a better answer, i'd consider that, because it is possible. |

| We took the truck in at Toyota dealership and they said it's either the ignition module or the ecu. does anyone know where we can get an ecu (speedy control)? Autozone or others don't carry them. Only Toyota dealership does and that's costly. Any suggestions? |

| look on line in the forums like tyhis one and get a used one if need be and try it to see if it clears it up new ones are bucks |
