390FE will become famous soon enough
It is possible and you can even yse your current motor.

You will need:
All Fuel injection parts off a salvage yard 85-94 22re motor.(Entire intake manifold and everything on it(take th ebolts too because I know at least one of the long bolts are not on a R motor, air tubing)
Don't forget the ruel pump block off plate off the RE head.
RE wiring harness and computer from doner truck
Throttle cable from donor truck
Fuel lines from donor for fuel return system (maybe??)
RE gas tank senging unit (maybe??)
Electric fuel pump. Aftermarket external should work fine. (depending on ifyou need RE sending unit with pump on it of not.

I was planning on doing this myself when I get the time and money so I haven't looked too deep into it but that is the basis of what you need.

I got thinking about it as I was taking the head off a RE motor and thinking "I should take all this RE stuff as well." But I didn't have the cash on me.

What I would do is take some pics of your truck setup and go to the salvage yard with the pics and take whatever is differant.
