1999 toyota tacoma 4x4 sr5

I have never adjusted the emergancy brake on this truck since new and Have the original back brakes, is this normal? Also anybody out there know where you plug the computer in to read codes on this truck. Great truck low maintenance.

it really depends on how many miles you have on them brakes. if you can set the emergency brake and power up a little and not move, i wouldnt worry. they do this everytime you get and inspection and if you had a problem, they would tell you. the obd port should be located to the right of the steering column just up under the dash.

If you're really worried about it just go to Brakemasters or somewhere that does brakes. They usually do a free inspection for you. As for reading the codes, I'm sure you can find where online, or on the link I'll send you.
