| Oil leak, no leak from pan, looks like a seal is missing... Any advice on what it takes to fix and the cost? 1990 Tacoma DLX |

| well, if it is the front crank seal then it should be a easy fix. you may want to get some degreaser and clean the engine first, because the oil could be coming from somewhere higher up.

| if it is a 22RE engine, it could be the timing chain is stretched and worn out, and has rubbed a hole in the front cover. Happened to a friend of mine, and took the afternoon to replace. Don't forget to check your timing when your done. |

| that shouldnt be too difficult to replace, just make sure that you know exactly where the leak is coming from, so you dont waste your day
