| code 41 TPS help! Ok, I have an 88 toyota pickup with a 6 cyl. It pulsates on idle and doesnt want to rev. I got a code 41 which is the TPS but I tested the TPS and its within limits. I even swapped it out for another one but that one did the same thing. When running I can take off teh TPS wire and it'll rev fine but it idles real high. Its somehting to do with the TPS circut but it isnt the TPS... Any body ever have this happen? All vaccum lines seem to be hooked up, wires connected etc. |

| i done the same thing with mine. i replaced mine and it started to run right about half the time. if you take some spray cleaner and blow evwerything off around the throttle body, meaning all the carbon buildup, it should go back to functioning right. |
