| Howdy I'm a Ford man at heart, grew up playing in the back of an old ford. But I also know that toyota's trucks and VAN ( from the 80's here in USA) are the most dependable and longest lasting vehicles on the road. A show called TopGear un the UK tried to destroy a diesel 4x4 hilux (pickup) toyota, but they couldn't. This included leaving it under 20 feet of seawater for 4 hours, hitting it with a wrecking ball, dropping it off a tall building, dropping the building on it, and finally setting it onfire with a molotov cocktail party in the cab and letting it burn itself out. With only an hour or so of repairs after each stunt, the truck still was able to drive away! I collect Toyota Vans. You know those ugly things they sold here in the 80's. Anyways, they are based on toyota trucks, and are the global terrorist's vehicle of choice.I watch the BBC news and almost daily I get to see a blown up toyvan, a toyvan police car, a toyvan firetruck, and a toyvan news van! Anyways, I have limited knowlege of toyota off road systems and engines. Just wanted to say hey, and check out www.toyotavanpeople.com |
