Anybody here play with their Toy's in the mud?

I have a 92 Xtra cab short bed with a 3.0 and 5 speed. Truck is 4wd and has 31x10.5 primewell a/t tires on it. If you are playing offroad with your toy, what is your current and hopeful future setup?

I have a 78 Chevy 1/2 long bed. Got 6" lift under it with 36 Wranglers. Dana 44 up front with locker, 12 bolt out back with eaton posi. 4:11 gears. Small Block 350 (mildy hopped up) with a TH350 (modded) and changed the NP203 to a NP205 X-fer case. I don't have the front drive shaft on it yet (need to change front output shaft) and the one time i've taken it out in the mud the back would just push it around. took 50 yard to turn around Hoping to get the front buttoned up and down the road put in a big block with bigger axles.

I am actually a welder and mech. I am bringing the Yo down as soon as I don't have to worry about foul weather (AKA spring) and rebuilding the engine... She has 334K on the clock and has low compression in one hole. After the engine has been built, I am gonna look into adapting an Eaton M62 supercharger off the series 1 GM 3800. After the engine is built, I am (Hopefully, money and time permitting) going to build a dual triangle style four link and get rid of the springs and torsion bars and go to an auto leveling air spring setup for more flexibility off road and more stability on road. Here in a few weeks, hopefully I can get the money to build a full set of skid plates and a fabbed mid-crossmember (Better ground clearance and a place to attach the new suspension upper arms.) When I do that I will post up pics.

Well guys, I have been doing some research and found that I should consider a SAS instead of beefing the stock IFS. Anybody have any good info or writeups available for this project?
