Fuel System Issue - 1989 4x4 4Runner

I have a 1989 V6 4x4 4Runner that was working fine until it was stored for the past 3 years. I am currently unable to start the engine. I tried firing up the engine with some starter fluid which worked, but I realized that there is no fuel pressure and my fuel pump does not work.

I removed and tested the 'Circuit Opening Relay' and made sure that there was continuity between terminals STA and E1, B and Fc, and no continuity between terminals B and Fp. I performed this test based on a Toyota manual, and I don't think that this relay is my issue. I can also hear a clicking noise from this relay when turning the ignition key of the car.

I then tried to remove and examine the fuel pump. I am unable to remove one of the hoses from the 'fuel pump sending unit assembly' which is held by a threaded pipe, and I am also unable to properly remove the wiring. How do these come off and is it necessary for me to remove this 'sending unit assembly' inorder for the fuel pump to come out? Also, is it safe for me to bypass the fuel system circuit and directly test the fuel pump with a positive charge?

Could the ECU, Solenoid Sensor, or Oxygen Sensor be the root of my problem? Any tips in troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated!

you hear your relay clicking it's working. can you hear your fuel pump humm when you turn the ing. to the on postion? and did you put sta-bil in the gas tank before you stored it? if not then you need to take everything off and clean them or replace them. the gas broke down and gumed up everything. after you replace or clean the fuel system i bet money it will run again.
