i agree with mochester. yota's are very reliable trucks. i almost bought 1 myself. i also agree with the advice he gives. susp lift only. 33's and gears and you'll be set. 33's will let you do everything you need it to do (short of competition mud bogs and rock crawls) and the gears will make up for the lost power of bigger tires.

well, in your first post, you're talking about 9 inches of lift, 3 of which are purely for visual effect...its really unnecessary

if you go to a hardcore 4x4 toyota forum, i almost guarantee they'll tell you not to lift it that much. a high center of gravity never did anything good for anybody offroad. its not about tire clearance - you can fit 33s just by trimming your fenders (carefully and correctly)

so "**** you" too, buddy, i'm on your side. i'm just telling you that nobody lifts a toyota that much for any functional reason. you'll do just fine with the 6" lift, and i guarantee it will look plenty cool too

just so you know, gears aren't cheap. might as well throw a locker in the rear too, dropping that kind of money

wow, u need as many cool points as you cna get with ur truck. bc with ur attitude you obviously dont have many friends.... jackin it up 9 inches will only make an easy target for all the people that dont like you. if you talk to every1 like you act on here. dont be surprised when u find slashed tires or keyd up sides

i think that the moderators need to do away with this thread. it is not very professional when it comes to new members and is not productive at new and helpful information.
