Wink 307??

Hi! sorry didnt get back til now- workin on dads computer so havent been on mine! Pretty sure its a chevy 307 but i`ll check the #`s again to be sure. We put it in because it was an older engine & were told it was 350- but didnt check til after it was in!! (our mistake I guess!) Anyhow, it`s a good runner but i think with gas it`s just too hard to sell trucks, so we decided to part it out if anyone needs any clean parts, etc. lemme know if ya need any pics or anything! She`s lookin a little rough from sittin though. cant remember if i put it down, but it has over 600. in new tires also. hood was over 400. so if ya know anyone needing good doors, fendors, etc. gimme a hollar!! thanks!!

I am confused... I thought chevy was 305, 350, 400 and 454 and so on..... Dodge was 318, 363 etc.... and Ford was 302, 351, 409... ETC... I do not recall a 307... or am I leaving one out?

On a different subject, where are you located and do you have pics?

307 is a chevy motor but they were placed on older cars and so on the reason they stopped making the 307 engine is because the 350 has more HP than a 307 now the 307s were good engines built right but you can do so much more with a 350. I think the 307 replaced the 289 not 100% sure.
