Question Need new tires before winter

Need p255 / 70R-16 Tires for my truck...I'd love to buy those mickey thompson rims and then get new tires, but I'm not made of money...Otherwise I'd go anywhere and get new ones.

Bought 4 goodyear wrangler silent armor but they didn't even last 35,000 miles... Plus Goodyear is only giving me $130 credit towards tires that cost $160 a piece. And I need 4.

Need as much traction as possible due to it being so light it hardly pulls off the line in rain. Just imagine the michigan winter snow storms.

Any ideas of where I can get a set cheaper than discount tire? Just found 4 decent shape same make $50 for the set. Not for sure if I'll buy em.

You can't go wrong with $50.00 dollars for a set just inspect them good.

Thumbs down

I'm worried they have seep leaks that I won't be able to notice until they are mounted.

The kind of leak that air seaps out of over a day or so..or under weight....hidden cracks or cuts.
A patched nail hole..

But anyway GOT A WAY BETTER DEAL

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....era+TripleTred

Talked to customer service thru goodyear and they are replacing ALL 4 of these with the new triple tread Forteras and I only have to pay $125.00 For all of them ($160 EACH ORG. COST before mount valves etc.)

For the guys at belle tire to mount, balance and valves, nitrogen inflation etc.

So THANKS ANYWAY!!!!

looks like they used the entire bottle of armor all. they went through all that to make that wheel weight stick out like a sore thumb too.

I know, I put wheel shine spray on it before I took the pic. It was light blue and dirty white so I cleaned it up....I'm going to paint the weights today,
