Assigned by the FCC back in the 80's when you had to be licensed for CB's

Was wondering why your call was so long for CB Bernie,
untill I noticed you said '80s.
They were about half that before they became a fad in the '70s.
We were using 2alphas and 3numbers.
Man, I feel old now.

Now that I think about it, it had to have been in the late 70's since I had the base station at my Mom's house. I moved out of there in 1977.

They pretty much stopped enforcing it by the 80's Bubba, and did away with soon after.
