Wanted: Dually rim for a '99 GMC

Anyone got a rim for a '99 GMC C3500 dually they're willing to part with? From what I understand the rims on the newer duallies won't work because they won't clear the calipers. My truck didn't have a spare when I bought it and I'm getting a couple new tires so I'd like to get a rim and make a spare out of one of the ones I'm taking off. Just a plain steel OEM rim is what I need.

Tire shop says they can order one but it's a "Made In China" piece of overpriced (~$75) junk and would take a few weeks to get.

good luck bernie. you are in the same shape that i am in lookin for a rim. i have found that about the only places you can find stuff like this at the best price is a local yard.

Been there, done that. None to be found within a 50 mile radius.

i know i could find something like that probably around the shop. shipping would costs just as much though even if i gave it to you though. this is why i havent been shopping for mine on the net. i have been doing a close search on ebay and craigslist though. found a couple of things but trying to bide my time. patience is key when buying products, especially auto related.

Yeah, shipping would probably be around $30-40, but at least it'd be a good OEM rim, and not one of these China imports that I wouldn't trust as a boat anchor.

what is that?? 16" 8 lug?? what is the spacing for an 8 lug?? i know i have some 8 lug dodge wheels and can probably find a chevy wheel or 2 around here somewhere. dually, i dont know about.
if i find one, keep an eye out for a 99 model dodge alloy 16X8 5 lug. might be able to make this work if i pay the shipping on yours if you pay for the shipping on mine. get what we both want for a little of nothing.

Yeah, 8 lug. I have the specs here someplace... aha... 16x6K is what it says.

I'll keep my eye out for a 16x8 alloy for you, but a photo would help so I can match the style.

Very similar to the ones on the g/f's Dakota. Only thing, and correct me if I'm wrong, but yours look "directional". Are they the same for right and left?
