Thinking about it, but I have to see what my budget can afford after payday.

I tell you what, this is a truck forum deal only. I will take $20 for the cargo net. That is $5 off.

Oh, the original $25 was a heck of a deal, because these usually go for a lot more than that. I didn't have a problem with the price you're asking. It's more a question of "Am I going to have $50-60 left that I can spare after I pay bills this week?"

I know it is a **** of a deal, but I knwo the cost of shipping can scare some people. So I figured I would knock $5 off. That is only one meal my son will miss.

Whoa... time out there Lonesome! As I said, I didn't have any problems with the price you were asking, and I didn't ask you to lower it. I'm just not sure I'll have that much left after I pay bills this week. The price was more than fair.

But now you're trying to make it look like I'm some kind of cheapskate who's trying to keep you from feeding your son, and that just isn't right. I have no need to do business with someone using those kind of tactics. No deal.

Dude, you took that the way wrong way. I was just playing when I said my son would miss a meal. I was not implying anyingthing. I am willing to knock $5 off becuuase I know the shipping cost will scare some people becuase they do not know how much this thing is actaully worth. I just need it gone and want to get a little bit of money for it. I was kidding and I thought it was obvious.

Sorry, I tend not to joke around where kids are concerned, and I take that stuff kinda serious. No harm, no foul.

Joking about what might actually happen is how I deal with it.

That sounds so much like an exchange I could have been on either side of.
I have a sense of humor that's almost always firing, but all of a sudden
something will cross a no fly zone with me. i should probably use a snail
for a role model. just happily sliming along until something hits an antena
and it just melts back into itself.
See, now by comparison, your convo looks reasonable.

Still thinking about it Lonesome, but if Bernie commits first, go for it.
But if he commits anything else, I'm not responsible.
Come to think of it, I'm not responsible period.
