For sale or trade: Military Aircraft tug built by Chevrolet

This truck is in great shape and runs perfect. It is powered by a 6.2 diesel with an automatic transmission. It is four wheel drive and puts the power the ground via a set of ZF axles with gear reduction hubs. The tires are like new and hold air just fine. The truck has full hydro steering and a selector lever to run two wheel front steer, oblique, or four wheel steering. It has multiple towing points and pulls very strong. The body is in great shape with no rust what so ever. The interior has some sun damage but it is clean and complete. I do not want to sell this truck but I have to cut some vehicles lose. I am only asking $4000 for it

I am curious as to what the gear ratio is in this thing. If I were to guess, and I get 3 guesses right? 4.56, 4.88 or 5.13.

I have no idea. It is running a set of equipment axles. I do not know how the label them if at all externaly. I would guess the gearing is lower than your three guesses though.

I'm only about 7 miles from I-95 __________________ If the guys who design 'em had to take one home, use it every day for 2 years, and do all the maint and repairs themselves, cars would have a button on the dash to change the oil, filters & plugs.
