Talking polished holley 600 CFM Carb. elec choke

I bought this carb from summit racing and installed it on my old jeep project. Well it had about 2 hours of garage running on it when I removed it to upgrade to holley projection. Anyhow it is essentially new . very clean and shiny. It is the shiney polished finish. Vacuum secondaries, with electric choke. Has been off for about 2 months. Was drained and filled with 10 WT oil and then it was drained again to preserve it in new condition Asking $150.00. Email nutjob@charter.net Thanks. I have pics, i can send vie email . Please email me with your email address if interested in pics. Thanks

Nope. i had it on a slightly built dauntless oddfire 225 for about 20 minutes of its life. Ran fine with the correct jets. Your 305 shoud need about 55 jets to run fabulous with this carb. Gonna get a higher performance motor soon anyway right.

Dont underestimate the 305. But if your gonna buld one for real power might as well go with the 350.

a locAL engine rebuilding shop here in british columbia, he quoted me a fully rebilt 350, made into a 383, (new crank, rods, bearings, pistons) balanced, roller cam, new valvetrain, new vortec heads, intake manifold to accomodate my TBI and the vortec heads, all the jazz to drop in my truck for $2800-3000, and these guys are good, very rebutable, He guarenteed that it will be a very torquey motor.

he says, "you can spend, 3,4,5,7,9 or 10 thousand, just keeps going up!!" but for 2-3000 dollars, you can be looking for a limited slip.

I plan on doing it myself for my truck, and saving a few bucks.... Not much there me and my friend cant handle. And if all else fails its only a 12 or so hour drive (maybe more) to bring chevy guy here and give me advice hey CG!??
