i want a good old truck. one i can take to a wood and not care. one to just go play with

. 4X4 is a must, also cheep. if you have one or know someone who does let me know. thanx

Hey tom:
Here is a suggestion to help you find that 4x4 you are looking for. Many tow companies impound vehicles that go unclaimed for one reason or another. They will accumulate various impound charges that a prev. owner refuses to pay. Sometimes because the vehicle just is not worth what the impound charges are. If you visit a few of these yards, you may be able to strike a deal. I have purchesed a few trucks this way, with much luck. These are good sources for parts trucks, and whole trucks. The last one I purchased was a 73' Ford F-250 highboy with a fresh 460, D60, and a 205 t-case. It ran pretty good, and I drove it home. Oh yeah, it cost me $900.00. The guy at the yard said he could probably get a few bucks more for it when it went to auction, but cash in hand was a better deal for him.
Anyway, just an idea.
