Here in Houston there were punching holes into tanks just to steal gas of company trucks and so on. How dumb if caught you get a record for life it's just not right to start with.

Just put $20.00 dollars of gas in our extra van it uses less gas than my 5.7 truck gas prices $uck right now my son in law is buying a Harley it uses less fuel than his 4x4 Dodge crew cab diesel truck a sportster got away from him it had only 4000k miles and it sold for $4700.00 dollars he's viewing another one that the reserve is at $5500.00 and it's a 1200 instead of a 883 I nearly bought a Goldwing last year even with my bad back I still want one.

malicious damage makes you no better than the thief.
Water in the gas tank doesn't run the risk of killing anyone. Where as adding Bleach runs the risk of not only the fuel tank rupturing, but fuel lines corroding, it doesn't take much to ignite gasoline vapor...

Besides: you can still smell the chlorine in gasoline.

I just got my Mazda B2200 back last night, $20 (15 liters) of fuel, and it reads at 1/2 a tank, from Maple Ridge to North Van would have taken almost 1/4 tank in the Ford, the gas gauge in the Mazda didn't move I love 2.2L over a 4.9L

Toyotaduallycom is on a distinguished road
Hi all,
Daughter took wife to Vero Beach mall last weekend and they parked in Handicap spot with my wife's permit so they could be close to the entrance. They were in the mall for about 1.5 hours. When they got ready to leave the Blazer wouldn't start. Some a**hole had siphoned over 1/2 a tank of fuel out of the truck. Now this is in a very busy mall right next to the entrance. They had to use some sort of powered pump to get that much real quick or it would have been very obvious.
Before you ask the mall cameras in the parking lot didn't catch a thing. They were not aimed in that exact direction. The manager of the mall said they had ordered swiveling cameras to sweep the lot but they haven't been installed yet. Figures huh?

ok my 2 cents. If they get caught siphoning fuel they should be made to drink 1/2 a gallon then light their a**es up with a cig lighter.

Rant over. Sorry.

the senior citizens center here in town has been robbed of gas out of their vans 3 times now. they are cutting the rubber hoses and lines underneath to get the fuel out. guess the plate in the filler neck stopped them from going through the gas neck.

I know of a guy who told me once that he had an external Holley high volume fuel pump and wired it to a cig lighter plug in. He put a 5 foot 3/8 fuel line on one side, and 3 foot on the other. He would sit in the passenger seat with another driver pull up next to a car that had the gas tank on the left rear, like most cars are today, open the cap drop the hose in the tank, plug in the cig lighter and fill a 5 gallon can sitting between his legs on the floor in about 2 1/2 minutes, then drive off. Beware of anyone parked next your vehicle in the street looking innocent, just sitting there for a minute acting as if they are looking at a map. This guy happens to be in jail now for other more serious crimes. Imagine that !!!

I also kicked around the idea of a bike, and decided not to as bas as I wanted since fuel prices would justify the purchase. Depending on how much you drive and if you have to carry tools to work etc. Bike maintenance is about the same as a car, then add another vehicle to insure and tag and the fact I am still raising one of my kids, he may need me someday. With the added expenses I really would not be saving that much on fuel, and the added risk of serious injury or death, as much fun as it would be, I talked myself out of it. I love speed and thrills and do not have enough faith in myself to use self control. Or I would get to complacent and some other idiot would take me out.
