Missing gas.

To members out there you might want to invest in a keyed locking gas cap or you might end up missing some gas and with prices so high we don't need that. Someone took gas from our SUV probably some young punks.

Leave a jerry can full of 90% water 10% gasoline in the back of your truck. At least you'll know which of your neighbors is stealing your gas.

It's not wrong. Thieves get what they deserve! hehe

as for a locking gas cap that might not even solve the problem. People have been punching holes in gas tanks as well and collecting it in drain pans...

Junior, Gas is over $5 p/gallon here, and is suppose to top out at above $7 p/gallon. I dont earn enough to buy fuel for someone else. A thief gets what he deserves. If it is jail or other, in the end he/she is going to pay.

Mr Wayne: Locking gas caps can be removed with a pair of vice-grips. I'm putting a padlock on my mazda gas door.

OR, instead of locking it.... Just never fill it, keep it around a 1/4 tank then if it does dissapear, then you are out very little.... I mean what happens if you forget the key to the pad lock and run out of gas? How will it look trying to break it open on the side of the road..... LOL.... sorry, just funny images running through my head.

Why not add some bleach to the water/gasoline mixture? It'll rust the gas tank of the thief's vehicle badly.

Now that is cruel... and dangerous... leading to a gass leack, then one day you see on the news a firball ripped through the city, and your neighbor is dead. Then it would not be so fun.... But if you can sleep at night knowing that, then I guess you have your own demons to contend with then huh? LOL.
