 |  Jackson 10/16/04 Truck Sideswipes Utility Pole (WLBT 3) An 18-wheeler nearly took out power lines along Pearson Road after smashing into a utility pole. The truck sideswiped the pole as the driver attempted to make a u-turn in a parking lot. The wheels of the truck narrowly avoided striking a gas main at the base of the pole.
