When you see the orange cones and know you're in for a slow ride or confusing detour, it might feel like there's too much roadwork going on in the Capital Region. The $43 million reconstruction of Interstate 90 in Albany, for example, has meant on-and-off road closures and frequent lane shifts and other disruptions.
